EdTranslate was founded in Florence in 2018 — in the city where Dante Alighieri wrote the Divine Comedy in the Florentine vernacular and, in doing so, created the Italian language itself.
We are a boutique studio of six translators: three sworn translators registered with the Tribunale di Firenze, one published literary translator, one medical specialist, and one technical/web localisation expert. Our extended network covers 35+ languages through 25+ vetted freelance linguists.
We are members of AITI (Associazione Italiana Traduttori e Interpreti) and our sworn translations are accepted by every Italian court, prefettura, questura, and EU institution.
